
CHS 2024-2027 Strategic Plan
At CHS, 2024 marked a year of transformation—across campuses, services, and most importantly, in the lives of the children and families we serve. This transformation thrives because of one driving force: hope.
Our 2024–2027 Strategic Plan centers on hope and outlines four key objectives:
- Implement a Consistent Care Model
- Increase Revenue Diversity for Sustainability
- Buildout New Rapid City Campus to Launch Model Programs
- Improve the Employee Experience
Each objective advances our mission to prevent, treat and heal trauma while addressing today’s needs and tomorrow’s opportunities. The Leadership team worked closely with the CHS and CHF Boards of Directors to align on this strategic vision. To keep the plan active and achievable, we will track progress through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), performance reviews and New Employee Orientation (NEO).
Rooted in the Science of Hope, our plan reframes hope not as passive optimism, but as a measurable and actionable pathway to sustainable change. Built on goals, pathways, and agency, the hope-centered framework guides how we operationalize our strategy. This plan is not only about what CHS will achieve over the next three years, but also about the mindset and momentum we will harness to drive meaningful, lasting impact.
