Even with a blizzard warning, community members still showed up in full force, making Saturday, March 14, an evening to remember. The Legacy of Hope Gala, hosted by the Rotary Club of Rapid City Rushmore, raised more than $114,000 for our new Rapid City campus! Even more special, this year’s total set a new record and is up from last year’s $91,000.
“My favorite part of this event is witnessing the support and generosity in our community,” said Theresa Schreiner Assistant Director of Development and Events. “This year, two auction package winners donated their packages back so we could auction them off a second time. It’s so fun when that happens!”
Over the past 37 years, Rapid City Rushmore Rotary has raised more than $2.6 million to support CHS programs. Click here to see photos.
