Hello CHS, CHF, and Emeritus Board Members,

Spring is here and I’m sure you all are as excited as I am to usher in warmer weather, more sunshine and, of course, golf! It’s a season of growth and change, with plants emerging and flowers blooming. At CHS we are also experiencing a season of growth and change, most notably with our Rapid City campus. Our efforts continue from a design and fundraising standpoint to make this new facility a reality.

The Promise Appeal, our campaign to support the renovation of the Rapid City facility, has strong momentum as we move into the next phase of our fundraising efforts. We have now raised $3,308,200 toward our $15 million goal. This represents more than 22% of our goal. The campaign steering committee, foundation staff, and everyone at CHS are looking forward to carrying this momentum into the next phase of the campaign!

We are also focusing on brand recognition for CHS. Since the beginning, many of you have heard me talk about the need to run in two tracks as we navigate the move into Rapid City and our new facility. One track is the Promise Appeal. The other is a statewide CHS brand awareness campaign. As of April 1, you will be seeing CHS in television spots, radio spots, increased social media, and billboards! We know there is a direct correlation between brand recognition and increased fundraising support. These two tracks will complement each other nicely and help facilitate the growth and change we need.

Thank you all, for your advocacy, leadership, and support! Enjoy the sunshine!
