Last week, CHS hosted the National Fellowship of Child Care Executives (NFCCE), a conference dedicated to agencies that provide care to at-risk youth. Seventeen executives from Pennsylvania, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and South Dakota convened for a three-day meeting at Black Hills Children’s Home.
Leaders discussed topics such as fundraising, succession planning, programs and services, insurance strategies and nonprofit resources. Once the conversations concluded, attendees could tour the Rockerville campus, Love INC of the Black Hills and Vyas Bridges Foster Home.
NFCCE is composed of agencies that provide out-of-home care for at-risk children. The group provides opportunities for participants to exchange information with others in similar agencies.
