Congressman Visits RC Campus

Staff at our Rapid City campus were excited to welcome U.S. House Representative Dusty Johnson last week! During his visit, he toured the building, met with team members and learned about the work we do every day to support children and families across South Dakota.

Along with highlighting our programs, Director of Development Heather Hoeye said Rep. Johnson's visit gave us an opportunity to explain how our new campus will impact more families in the Black Hills region.

“Congressman Dusty Johnson’s visit to our Rapid City campus gave us a chance to show how important early behavioral health intervention is,” said Heather. “It was encouraging to share how Children’s Home Society is expanding services in Western South Dakota so more kids and families can access the care and stability they need to succeed.”
