While we are thrilled with the construction progress on the new Rapid City campus, we are also equally delighted with the upgrades underway at our Sioux Falls campus.
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance safety across all CHS locations, we have made several recent security improvements:
- Installed new security cameras in the Madsen building
- Installed new badge readers in the Madsen building
- Added a secondary doorbell at the Van Demark reception area for after-hours access
“These enhancements are an important step in strengthening CHS’s overall security posture and helping keep our staff and kiddos safe,” said IT Director Austin Winter.
In addition to these security updates, we are also replacing our HVAC system in the Van Demark building.
- Installation of the new system is progressing and will continue through mid-November
- The Facilities Department is removing three of the temporary air conditioning units that were in the Van Demark building and are no longer needed
