Jennifer Byers, Chief of Staff and Organizational Effectiveness Officer

Chief of Staff Jennifer Byers has taken on the additional role of Organizational Effectiveness Officer and will now oversee the Human Resources department. Vice President of Human Resources Heather Powell will continue to lead the HR team, and Jennifer will work alongside her to support our staff and ensure our strategies continue to align with our goals.

We are grateful for Jennifer’s willingness to take on this additional responsibility. She brings more than 20 years of workforce leadership experience from a variety of industries, and this new role is a natural fit with her work as Chief of Staff.

Rachel Lord, Vice President of Finance, Risk and Compliance

Rachel Lord has been promoted to Vice President of Finance, Risk and Compliance!

Compliance Director Hope Perini has done outstanding work leading our accreditation efforts and helping guide a new approach to quality across CHS. As Rachel steps into this new role, she will work alongside Hope to continue strengthening our finance, risk and compliance efforts while supporting strong decision-making across the organization.

We are fortunate to have Rachel’s expertise on our team. She has served as CHS’s Controller for the past two years and brings many years of experience in compliance, risk management and internal controls from a variety of industries. We are excited to see her continue to grow in this new role.

Steve Feild, Statewide Trainer

We are pleased to announce that Steve Feild has accepted the role of Statewide Trainer. In this new role, Steve will work with our residential and school teams to ensure training remains consistent on every CHS campus.
