RCAS Collaboration at the Lincoln Building

Some exciting things are happening with the classrooms in the Rapid City Area School District. We have hired our first classroom Teacher and two Teacher Assistants. Here is some additional information.

• The classrooms will serve up to 24 students in the Rapid City School district.
  • We will serve ages kindergarten through third grade.
• We have three classrooms at the Lincoln Building in Rapid City.
  • Classroom A: Kindergarten and first grade, up to 12 kids in the class
  • Classroom B: Second and third grade, up to 12 kids in the class
  • Empty Room: Set up as a dining area
• This is a collaboration with the Rapid City Area School District.
  • CHS provides: Staff, technology and the program
  • School District provides: The students, food and classroom furnishings
• We hired a Teacher and two Teacher Assistants.
  • Still looking for: another Teacher and an Admin Assistant
• We hope to have functioning classrooms and students attending in March.
• Once the new campus is complete in 2026, the students and teachers will transition to the new school.
