SFCH Passes DSS Licensing Review
Another successful annual DSS Licensing Review is in the books! Two DSS employees reviewed children’s records, personnel files, safety-related documentation, and conducted staff and child interviews.
“Thank you to EVERYONE for helping us achieve another successful review,” said COO Allison Sanderson. “These great results are only possible because of this great team. Your dedication and hard work truly make a difference.”
Here’s a message from Allison’s about how each category fared.
Personnel Records
Personnel records were in excellent order, from hiring requirements to training records and performance evaluations. DSS noted how user-friendly Paylocity is and praised the HR team for their well-organized documentation.
Children’s Records
DSS reviewed children’s records and found all documentation complete and thorough. They continue to be impressed with the quality of documentation in the ERS.
Safety-Related Documentation
DSS reviewed four restraint reports, and each contained all required documentation. Thank you to everyone involved in maintaining these records in the ERS!
Child Interviews
DSS interviewed three children, all of whom were knowledgeable about their goals and objectives, consequences, supervision rules, home visits and on-campus visits.
In addition, child surveys reflected very positive feedback:
- “Staff really care about us.”
- “Staff are very nice.”
- “We have a really good school and fun silly putty to play with.”
Staff Interviews
The staff interviews also went extremely well. Thank you to Karissa, Kent and Hanna for representing the agency with professionalism and heart!
